"emo" is lame.
and I dont know what the opposite of emo is, but its lame too.
in the 60's it was called the Mods and the Rockers....it doesn't matter.

Everyone listen. I saw this on TV somewhere MTV or something like that.
Today's definitin for EMO is people that are very emotional all day long happy, sad. (some may see it as phsycotic)
and to answer your question that is why they don't understand. They don't know why your emotions are the way they are. Do like that episode I saw on TV and take someone to walk with you a day and see why you are catagorized like this and hopefully they will understand then. Back in the day it didn't have the definition it has now so that is why they look at you and talk about you the way they do because there are so many definitions for EMO.

I'm not quite sure what you asked.....but the part about emo I judge is how whiney and silly it is. Emo has changed meanings over the last 2 decades, and now it's just a catch word for a lot of different things....but somehow every band that gets called emo...and I mean from Fugazi forward...gets on my dang nerves.
Especially the garbage now that sounds like a cross between the Smiths and Stone Roses.
Whiney rock got cliched after Ian Curtis died.

What's the problem with "judging" emos? It makes you feel bad, but isn't feeling bad the point of emo? Now you have a reason to go cut yourself and write bad poetry. You should thank us, emokidd.

No that's although racist. No subject what somebody says that black anyone isn't in a position to be racist. Any race can. (Coming from a bi-racial chick, Caucasian and African-American). Now there's a transformation. Black persons say "n-igga" as a term of love between friends and such. in many cases (<<<---notice I reported traditionally) white persons say "n-ig-g-er" to make black persons evaluate inferior. in the event that they use the standard some black persons although evaluate locate it impossible to resist's fallacious given previous historic previous. yet now no longer all. comprehend so some distance? additionally, any self-respecting black character would not use the two word. Any first fee black character does no longer call white persons cracker or some thing like that.

They are probably condemning people who are pretentious about being emo, not the fact of being emo itself... some people think acting all dark and tragic and misunderstood makes them cooler... it's that kind of attitude that is being mocked.

people will always judge other people
but since this is R&S it is very rare that we even discuss emo let alone judge it
but you need to be stronger and take critisism if you wish to be a little different to the " norm " .... as i tell my emo daughter

Don't judge the people who judge you - just accept that not everyone thinks the same. What do you really care what nameless faceless people on the internet think anyway?
