if my stuttering is comming back. When I was little I stuttered, and the doctors said I'd get over it when I got over and I did. But now I'm starting to stutter again. It's so embarassing, and no one knows what I'm saying. It's becoming a problem. And it seems to disappear whenever I complain about it. What's going on?

Stuttering runs in my family. All of my uncles and cousins who stuttered got help through The Stuttering Foundation. Check their web site at www.stutteringhelp.org to see what you can find. I do remember my cousins saying that their stuttering came and went a few times.

Don't fret about stuttering. I stuttered so badly as a child I couldn't get one word out. Eventually I gained control over it....that was around 17 or 18. I'm 48 now, and if I'm very tired I'll find that I'll stutter ever so slightly. It's just one of those things. Don't worry about it and you'll find things will work themselves out.

The problem with stuttering is that it is a control of the nerves, and every time someone does not think about what they are going to say they just (plert/mumble) out anything that comes to your mind all at one time. In your case just relax think about what you are going to say and take a breath it will flow out natural. Just clam down do not be in a rush. ok
