My hair a few inches past my shoulder, and it layers down to almost halfway down the back. Its only about 1-3 inches past my shoulder in the front, layered of course. I read somewhere that petites shoudln't grow their hair past their shoulders. I'm 5'0" but I love long hair. My hair is golden light brown, kinda a gold blonde. Do you think it looks good?

I honestly think that on petites short hair looks better. Petite hair for petite girls. The long hair just takes over the whole body and it doesn look good on most girls. But if you are happy with your longer hair and it does look good and doesn't take over your whole body, I would most definitely keep it.

I am also 5 feet and my hair stops at my shoulders ( I just cut it), but I rather have my long hair back. It all on how you feel. I personally think that the length of your hair should go off personality not size.

If you have a long face, you should cut it shorter. Also, I think any hair style that is kept fresh by trimming the ends and styled consistantly looks fine.

I think long hair looks good on any woman. I just like the flowing hair look. Call me old fashioned, moron or whatever. It's just what I like.

well if a long face makes ya look taller, long hair makes ya look taller. i think it'd look cute. dont grow it past ur waist though

hair below your breasts for short people is not good. as long as its above your breasts, its fine. btw, long hair makes you look SHORTER not taller.
