Heres the deal, I am having a tough pregnancy. I am also trying to go to school. I will be finished with my degree in a year and will make alone 50 grand a year. I feel like school is most important right now and we just need to rough it out until Im finished since I do not feel well and need to concentrate on school. He makes about 2400 a month. I have 3400 in credit card debt, 60 in car insurance, 50 phone bill, he has a 300 car payment, 100 insurance....his business went belly up and we have to move in with my folks until we get on our feet and plan on being on our own in a couple months before the baby comes. We already have all of our baby things, stock of diapers for about 6 months, and wic for formula. We won't really have to buy much for the baby bc my mom get things very cheap for us. With all our bills into consideration, and also considering soon we will have rent and utilities, can we make it until I finish school? Also we do not buy anything that is not a necessity

Yes, you can make it if you budget yourselves wisely. I know because my wife and I are both disabled and we live on 2 disability checks which is around the same amount. Things are tight, but we make it and you can too. I think it's smart for you to concentrate on school and taking care of yourself and your unborn baby right now. Just sit down together and work out a budget including food, gas,etc and you can do it! Good luck!

I understand that you need a good car to drive. The car and insurance sounds like your highest bill. I know you can after a year of paying payments on your car you can have the monthly car note drop. And your insurance is way to high. You need to conceding to lower that. And if 24oo is all you have to live on then your going to have to find a cheap apartment or a single just for now. You have to do what you need to do until you can afford better. Most people do.I once had to go in the worse part of town with my two children. But I had a goal to get out I gave myself a time limed. The rent was cheap in it was a 1bedroom. The neighborhood was so bad I didn't allow my children to go out side to play. With me at work and them in school during the day and though the week we were pretty busy anyways. And on week-ends I would always take them out. I didn't like it not one bit, but my point to you is sometimes you have to lower your standards and as long as you have a plan in keep to them you will be alright. If the bills are to high like food you can always apply for food stamps. You do what you have to do. I hope you and your family the best.

As detailed now, yes your fixed expenses are about $ 510 plus max $ 300 food plus $190 for gas & personal expenses. All that comes to $ 1,000. that leaves $ 1,400. Now you don't mention how your education & books are paid for so I'm asuming that's covered some way.

If you are able to keep to keep rent & utilities under $ 800, in reality you should have at least a couple hundred left over.

i'm not trying to mean but and trust me as a woman trying to have children i mean this w/ respect. if school was so important and finances are in dire straits you should've taken precautions on not getting pg in the 1st place. b/c now all of your money and energy will have to be foucused on this new life you've created and school cannot be your priority this baby is. it is expensive to raise a family. you young people need to start thinking of the consequences of your actions before it's too late. i hope it's enough for you to survive on b/c it won't be easy. i really hope that you do finish school. best wishes.

credit cards min payment approx 200.00 to make a difference... total of 710 per month for above so yeah...you can do it... gas what 40 per week? so that brings it to 900 per month...all you have left is food, and after you pay out above you will have 1500 to deal with... Good luck...hope your parents will help you as long as you need them...
