I have noticed that in supermarkets the lottery tickets are sold on the same counter as the cigarettes and I have never met anyone who smoked who has never bought a Lottery ticket. Do you know any smoker who hasn't bought a ticket?

All my smoker friends have bought them.
Gambling is an addiciton & smoking is an addiction. Hmn, wonder why they are both at the kiosk........

They are sold together because they are both high value items and as such can not be risked to be left out on the floor like other items. You may also find condoms at the same counter as well.
And yes I know many smokers who hasn't bought a ticket.

Yes, loads of people who dont smoke buy lottory tickets. I think they sell them at the cigarette counter because the queues are shorter than when you are buying a trolley load of food, although you can get your lottery ticket there too if you want.

people who smoke can't afford lottery tickets but they still buy them. i smoke but refuse to keep people in a life i can not have, the only winners in the lottery are those who run it.

Since they're taking a gamble by smoking, why shouldn't they take a further one by buying a ticket?
BTW Are male homosexuals referred to by the slang term "fags" because, like cigarettes, you have to suck on them to get anything out of them?

we get taxed like hell on smokes to pay for ours and your cancer treatment so why not oblige to the governments favourite stealth tax, the national lottery, and pay for some hoodies to recieve treatment for their own ignorance in goa. bless them all....
