Dog keeps weeing inside?

My dog goes out twice a day and is let out again before i go to work and again before i go to bed but she keeps having a little pee in the same place whilst im asleep. Any ideas on why she might be doing this. Its not as if she isnt having a wee when i walk her she goes at least 3 times. i am feeding her on a mix of dried and wet food and she always has a fresh bowl of water with it.

Any ideas on how to stop her doing this ?? I heard pepper deters them or is that just for cats ?? HELP !

First, the biggest mistake that an owner can make is to punish a dog, cat, or any animal for an accident indoors, especially if it's found a while after it happened. It will only make the dog fearful of its owner.

For the most part, the dog simply needs a reliable, consistent, positive plan letting her know that it's wrong to urinate in the house, but right to do it outside.

Don't wait until the dog has an accident or just leave her outside until she goes either. Rather, make a schedule for the dog to follow that include positive rewards and encouragement and letting the dog outside "many, many" times each day. Go outside with her, then reward her after she goes.

If you show her where to go, wait until she does, then reward her for good behavior, she will get in a few weeks.

You must keep a watch on the dog at all times for her to learn. If you cannot do this due to a job, hire a neighbor or friend to let the dog out a few times while you're gone. This is imperative to the training. Once she learns better, she'll need out less and less.
