Sheep, while dumb, follow the shepherd. Goats tend to be strong willed and are more likely to be disobedient. The Almighty YHVH set up a system. He sent His “Son” YAHOSHUA to die for the sins of mankind so they would not have to. (They could choose to, but did not have to). Any person who chooses not to allow Yahoshua to take care of their sins, chooses to remain attached to their sins. They thus will wind up in the lake of fire which is YHVH’s method of cleaning this world, and eliminating sin and sinners. The Creator set aside the Seventh day for rest and worship. Yes that is the day usually called “Saturday”. We are not saved by obedience, we are saved by faith. However we are saved FOR obedience. As He said in John 14:15 (and in many other places) “If you love me, keep my commandments.

Goats think for themselves and are therefore evil. Sheep are sheep. There is a reason the bible thinks of Christ as the shepherd and the Christians as his flock of sheep.

You're also more likely to get completely white sheep in a flock while goats are spotted.

I would like to understand the reasoning of clean and unclean. God couldn't have created anything unclean right? So, where did the unclean animals come from? They are a necessary part of creation as we know it, but how did they come to be so? God created everything, so some animals evolved into an unclean existence. What affected their evolution to this lowly state? What is affecting our evolution to its point of extinction?

Because sheep are brainless and follow the leader. They have the intelligence of an ant. Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

I'm thinking that sheep are obedient and listen to their master, while goats are rebellious and untame.

they are symbolic... it's not that sheep are "inherently" good or goats are "inherently" bad. It's not the point. The Bible just gave symbols to the people, so they would understand easier.
