Law Enforcement/ Recruitment after incident?

How would you get reemployed to another law enforcement agency when they do the background check and find that there was a questionable incident at my last assignment which got me terminated.

Work out in the town of Mayberry. Think the sheriff there is named Andy. Don't think they will be able to call out of state for reference or check the computer. Good luck.

I don't think you can, try private investigations or private security.
