You may have allergies or physical blockages that are clogging up your sinuses and creating a perfect home for bacteria. If the sinuses don't drain properly, you can't get rid of the bacteria. You can try taking an antihistamine that doesn't dry up your sinuses, such as claritin, and an expectorant such mucinex. These two things help the sinuses drain. Ibuprofen or alleve may also help by reducing inflammation.

It looks like the antibiotics are not working, so it might be time to visit an otolaryngologist (ear, nose, throat doc). They can get an MRI to look at you sinuses to see whats going on in there and determine whether there is a polyp or other physical blockage causing the problem.

You probably didn't heal completely from the first episode. You will need antibiotics,as it sounds like infection has set in. Green mucus is the clue there. If you have the antibiotics, did you already see a doc? Or are you talking over the counter types of cold meds? Good luck.

It sounds like you have a serious sinus infection. It's hard to get rid of it, but you will. Make sure you take all of your antibiotics as directed. Also, try taking some zinc to boost your immune system.

I hope you feel better soon. By the way, a few years ago I had the same thing and it lasted for three weeks! Yuck!

You should go back to the doctor. It sounds like a different infection has set in and you probably need a different antibiotic than what you are taking. Go soon though. That doesn't sound good. Good luck. :)
