Plum would be gorgeous... you could do a burnt orange as an accent color.. or maybe dark green? Gold would look good too.

If you are going to go with a plum/eggplant type of color, you will want to go with another fall color that is lighter. I would suggest something gold. Really, out of all the fall colors its really hard to pick two colors though. If you want the plum color, have plum for your bridesmaid dresses, and bows, and some of your flowers and have a few other fall colors. But you may just want to go with mainly the one color.

I definetly wouldn't go with a lot of pastels. Gold and silver go with anything. Maybe some shade of yellow, orange, or red. But if you already have plum picked out, the fall colors would clash with it.

i think if you're going to use plum, maybe you should use gold and white. it'll go good with the warm sunlight that usually comes out in september. if you have another idea for colors just email me. fast_cars_and_freedom54@yahoo.com

i used to work in a wedding dress shop. cream or ivory would complement plum but wine or burgundy is a lovely colour that also flatters most complexions if you are wanting this as a bridesmaid colour. its also a nice colour for that time of year, a nice warm colour
