I HATE THAT
another one is "poor people have poor ways." this stupid well off lady I know says that alot. I'm poor, I think I have great ways. my kids and I each picked out a total stranger to give 50 bucks to at christmastime b/c we were inspired by the secret santa in k.c. that died this year. we go and have adventures and scrimp and save to do so. we live a full life, I live for today, and do and give what I can. i hate it when rich folks say stupid crap like that.

No i would not say that at all. Look at the Bible. God even says it is easier for a poor person to get to Heaven than it a rich person, with being poor, you know that you really need something out there so many turn to God. Rich people feel they have evrything they could want so they do not look

Have you not ever wondered why the Christian religions have always stated that the poor will inherit the earth? That is to control the minds and will of the poor masses. It allows the rich, powerful and the church to stay in their position of power and it keeps the poor from rising up. The best way to keep people down, but have them still work hard their whole lives, is by a statement like that where they will be rewarded in the next life.

I've learned that being poor makes you poor. Becoming rich makes you an ******** but I'd rather be a rich ******** than a humble poor man.

yes it is. considering according to christianity it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle then it is for a rich person to enter heaven. being good in this life is something that can work for your benefit so u do not end up being stuck in hell with something like freddie!!!

It's easier for rich people to say, but it is true. Think about how you feel about your health once you are sick with a cold. You think "man, I take for granted breathing though my nose" when you can't breath through it. Rich people, never get stuffed up noses, and don't appreciate that. Stupid analogy, I know...

No - the Bible says it also.....it's true though.....when you have financial difficulty or income that is meagar it keeps you in perspective and grateful for what you have.....the rich don't want for anything and often have more than they know what to do with!
