Until they put that ring on your finger I say the ol' boyfriend should get nothing!

I didn't list my boyfriend as a beneficary, the thought crossed my mind. But what if we breakup? Then I have to go through the process of changing it. So I choose my brother. I don't have any children if I did I would leave it to them.

I would say no, your next of kin or kids should be on the beneficary not your boyfriend.

I have no kids, so my benficiary is my mother. I wouldn't make a boyfriend my beneficiary unless I had no other close family/friends left and the relationship with him appeared quite serious.

Do you trust him without a doubt that he isn't and wouldn't cheat on you...then yes have him as a beneficiary...are you his and if you are then again yes if you don't trust him and he's not putting you down as his then no. Just no.

i'm the beneficiary for my b/f's life insurance... but if I had kids and I wasn't married, I would only put my kids' names on there...

no, just my children.
but they are adults.
if they are underage you might need someone to administer the money if you died.
