Definitely. The brain is remarkably powerful. If you have a mental connection then you will start to notice things that draw you towards them and, given time, you may well develop a sexual attraction of some form.

I think if the friendship is deep enough given enough time a loving relationship can develop but I don't think you will ever have that knee trembling experience when you kiss. Doesn't mean it can't be a worthwhile relationship though, in fact is more likely to last longer than the heady rush of sexual attraction

Yes I suppose it is,but very difficult as compatibility usually leads to sexual attraction ,the latter being former lovers who become best friends which is a rarity but possible.

It never happened to me but what turns you on alters with age and experience. The rough diamond who turned you on at 17 will not have the same effect after you've tried relationships with that type. Once bitten............ How well do you get on. The older you are the more sexy getting on is. In my experience if fireworks went off I needed to run like hell or it would be a disaster. My daughters experience is the opposite. Lucky cow.

yes it's called a platonic relationship. likewise, my best two friends of whom i've known for over 13 years are male- and not once have i been attracted, nor felt any sexually attraction to either of them

Definitely, and not always only when alcohol is involved. Someone can trigger sexual feelings in you without attraction.

yes it is....but you might not get on well after you start a sexual relationship...then the friendship might end....think of what you prefer this person to be....a friend?...or a play thing!!!!!!
