If that were true then incidentally, then according to the records, the Sumerians must've invented glue 1000 years prior to the creation of the universe....

Adam, not the Universe. The Earth not the Universe. The environment not the heavens. (In those days the heavens meant "where birds fly".

The universe was NOT created 6000 years ago. This was when Adam was created. God made many humaniods and animals long BEFORE He made Adam. Science can certainly prove that animals and humaniods were here on Earth long before 6000 years ago, right? God made everything on Earth just like the scientist say. He started with amino acids and polypeptides and progressed to single celled organisms. Then on to multicelluar organisms and so on. And when He decided to work on people He had to kill off the dinosuars because they were way too big. So He changed the trajectory of an asteriod or comet, like we now contemplate doing if we need to in the future, and had it hit the Earth and kill off the big dinos. So then He went to work on small sized animals. He then progressed to humaniods by gene manipulation, what we do now. It says in the Bible BEFORE God made Adam He made male and female and told them to go forth and multiply. Read the 1st and 2nd chapter of the Bible, Genisis, very carefully and you will see. Then He made Adam and Eve and told them to stay in the Garden so they could be his company. It says that God came down to the Garden to walk and talk with Adam, right? They were supposed to stay in the Garden and live forever and not to go outside and mingle with the humaniods He had been working on, as He tried to create a perfect being. But when they sinned God kicked them out of the Garden and they had to live amongst the humaniods out there. These pre-men were not of the ORIGINAL Jewish lineage. Only Adam and his decendents. So these people never evolved past the stone age, because they lacked the intelligence to do so. These people are the black Africans, the Australian Aborigines and the North and South American Indians, who were and some still are living in the stone age. Everyone on Earth living today though are somewhat related as science can prove that all living persons have the SAME maternal mitochodrial DNA as the humaniod "Lucy" that was found in Africa and has been carbon dated to I believe some 2.5 or 3 million years old. Adam is related to this humaniod but through gene manipulation Adam was made to be superior to the pre-men God had been working on. So when God finally got His 'human' experiment right He placed Him in the Garden and was the only person He allowed to name all the animals. He, Adam, was God's perfect end to His experiment. And that was the way God had intended it to be. Adam living in the Garden and being God's perfect being that he could carry on an intelligent conversation with. But when He made Eve so Adam wouldn't be lonely Eve caused Adam to sin. Who knows though Adam may have sinned on his on later but we will never know that. So anyway we all share the same maternal mitochodrial DNA, BUT, ONLY those decended from Adam and Eve have become civlized human beings. Now you may say I have a bias in my opinion. Well I am not Jewish but I am 1/16 North American Cherokee Indian. I am just stating the truth. You will probably get some people responding to your question who read my answer and call me racist. They just can't take the truth. I mean no disrespect to anyone but the chips fall where they fall.

And apparently the Ice Age took place 4000 years before the universe was created.

I think that you may have your information wrong. It is to my knowledge that the Universe is billions of years old by the best guesses of some of the top scientists in the world. Why would you think otherwise. Tune in to the science channels and you will have a better understanding of this.

Its ridiculous, thats what it is. I'm Christian, and I'm about pissed off because I keep hearing people saying the Bible says the earth is about 6000 yrs old - The damn Bible doesn't say that, people who do not know what the Bible says, say that.
The Bible states that this earth is eons and eons old; in fact, that there was an entire earth age before this one - you can read about all three earth ages in second Peter.
AAaaahhhhh.....

Read your Science book. The world/earth was created millions and millions of years ago. The universe.......no way of telling how old it is.

It sounds like extremely some artwork for someone who supposedly on: day one created day and nighttime; day 2 made the firmament and divided the waters; day 3 added forth dry land, trees, herbs, grass, etc; day 4 made 2 tremendous lights and the celebs; day 5 made water animals and flying animals; day six made land animals and people; and on day seven he rested (or so it is been stated). Granted the length of the days are not specified yet why pass through a lot artwork for some human beings to perceive that the universe began with the 'huge Bang' and has stronger in view that then and others to trust the Bible to be real and that the universe become created on 6000 years in the past (also wide-spread because the 'youthful Earth concept'). in case your hypothesis were to carry real, it would look that 'God' wanted to create strife between human beings, because each and every camp bickers about the age of the universe (and allow's heap evolution in with it because both pass hand and hand) with a similar ferocity because the abortion/ anti-abortion and gun/ gun-administration camps.

I don't know why people debate that question.
What matter is a persons relationship with the holy spirit of God. right here right now.that's ALL we should be concerned with.what does it matter how long God took creating creation?seems rather ridiculous to me to even try to understand Gods ways, we should understand our self's in relationship with God and his spirit not some questions, we could ask stupid questions all thru our life's and never get and more spiritual.

I think you jsut answered your quesiton but the bible only defines a day as day and night, we dont know how long those days could have lasted. The earth has slowed down in rotation over time. You could be right but so could the Bible.
