grafitti? when i have a nice area of the house i would like to get a big long canvas an let someone graitti it

if there was a large area of the house with a big canvas with attractive graffiti would that be interesting? like it was taken right off the subway wall, as if there was grafitti covered up a few times with something very nice. anyone else think this would be cool ?

But what would be really groundbreaking would be to make large paintings on the walls of your house, remove the walls and place those in the subway.

Personally I think that would be a great idea, like taking something of the street and turning it into art. However, it all depends on your own personal preference, because it's your house.

the people who do that are called "writers", google graffiti and find one in your area (they have web sites like you wouldn't believe!) whose work you like,...or several...i photograph the stuff and i find them at work and talk to them frequently, ofcourse around this neck of the woods there are "permission walls" where they are encouraged to do their art...and those walls are incredible....they really work at it...most of them thumbnail their work out and sketch it out and plan it out for days and weeks, before they put any paint on a wall.
