Tyson was scary and intimidated a lot of people. When Douglas beat him it was not a fluke whatsoever as he was still undefeated. It proved that he was not invicible as people thought he was. Tyson never did defeat a truly great heavyweight in his career. Ali beat Frazier twice, Foreman, and Liston twice using great ring generalship, footwork, speed and great boxing ability. Ali would have frustrated Mike and won by decision.

Tyson would last until the 7th round until he bites off Ali's ear. Then Ali will just crush him and make fun of him in some way.
Could you imagine how much Ali would critcize Tyson for the way he talks if they both fought back when Ali used to fight. Ali was so cocky but Tyson was so crazy. What would Ali do if Tyson told him he would eat his children like he said to another boxer before a fight at a press conference.
THIS WOULD BE THE BEST FIGHT EVER

A prime Tyson might've had a chance at beating an older Ali as his speed was slowly leaving him. Any Tyson would'nt have lasted 8 rounds with a prime Ali.
Lol that is funny to think what Ali would've said to Tyson. "You sound like Tweety Bird and look like a bull dog" His nickname would be Tweety Dog. Lets remember that Tyson wasn't strong mentally, I think Ali's trash talk regaurdless of what era, would've been too much for Tyson. He'd either be KO'd or DQ'd.
-Tony Rave i hope that was a joke lol.

The blogbaba is amazed that you guys can mention Ali's name in the same sentence as Mike. Ali today, in the shape he's in with the problems he has could beat the Tyson of today. At any time in Mike's life, Ali owned him. I don't think Tyson had the heart to get by the likes of any of the Greats:
Forman KO's Mike with a right hand
Liston KO's Mike with a right hand
Fraiser KO's Mike with a left hook
Marciano KO's Mike with a right hand
Louis KO's Mike with a double jab and a right cross
Dempsy KO's Mike with a combination
Jack Johnson KO's Mike with a jab.
John L. KO's Mike with a bar stool.
Patterson & Moore would have had the heart to decsion Mike.
And last but not least I stood right there and watched Evander clean MIkes clock June 9th, 1996.
I don't even see Iron Mike getting by guys like Ernie Shavers and Ron Lyle let alone being in the ranks as one of the all time greats. I would take Bob Foster and Roy Jones by decsion over Tyson.

Before I start, Ali was Tyson's hero, and you have to ask yourself how much he would want this fight. Ali wouldn't have been scared of him, but given Ali's age and diminished speed, many people would have been scared for Ali.
But anyway...
Ali's speed and reflexes had gone at that point, whereas in his prime, Tyson's hands were deceptively quick, and he had a good chin, and a good bob and weave style to evade shots, and get in close.
At the start of the first round, Tyson charges Ali and lauches a furious attack, and forces Ali back. Unlike with Foreman, Ali no longer has the reflexes to block or evade blows effectively. In the fifth round, Tyson unleshes a savage combo of bombs on a defenceless Ali, like he did both times against Bruno. Ali collapses after this searing attack, and the referee counts to ten. Ali eventually gets to his feet, but looks shaky. Even he must know his career is over.
In a tender moment between the two, mirroring Joe Louis and Rocky Marciano, Tyson, with tears in his eyes, embraces Ali. After this conclusive dribbing, Ali decides to retire.

Ali by decision.
Don't forget that in his prime, Tyson was just as good with his defense as Ali (the ol peek a boo style v. Ali's lightning reflexes). Theres no way Tyson gets knoked out knocked out. Comparing Tyson to Forman is a bad comparison in that respect (what the hell was that cross armed thing foreman used in defense???)
But Ali would have been the better boxer and just beat Tyson on points.

Ali would have beaten Tyson within 8 rounds by outsmarting him. Ali was famous for never going into a fight without a plan. Just ask George Foreman!

I also agree with Bluedevil. Ali would be ready for Tyson. This would be Ali's fight by decision, KO, or Tyson dq. Ali would frustrate him into a dq would be my prediction.
