HOME MADE ONION SOUP
you will need:
-chicken stock
-onions
-butter
-bread and
-parmiggiana cheese.
Slice the onions, sautee them with the butter and then add the chicken stock, in an ovensafe bowl, put some bread (sandwich bread without the brim)enough to cover the bowl, on top of the bread add the soup until the bread is moist but don´t let the soup pass the edge of the bread (if you prefrer you can add soup directly to the bowl place the bread pieces and then add a little more to moist the bread), then add parmiggiana cheese, put the bowl in the oven to gratinee. In general you decide the amounts of stuff, there isn´t a specific amount for any of the ingredients and if you like you can add salt, I personally consider it is not necessary.

Spahgetti and Meat Balls
Boil the the meat balls in water not to much but not to little for a couple of minutes.
Put another pot of water to boil for the spahgetti.
While the pots are boiling get another pot and put in canned or freshly sliced tomatoes parsley, black pepper and if desired a dash or pinch of curry powder or you can use any already made spahgetti sauce and put it on low.
put the meatballs into sauce by now the pasta should be cooked, strain the pasta then put back into the put with 1tbsp of butter to keep from sticking together or some extra virgin olive oil.
Serve pasta with the meatballs on top with some grated cheese of your choice and if desired pop it in the microwave for about 20-30 seconds to completly melt the cheese on top.
Serve with any vege of your choice.

This what I do for baked chicken...
I use the following seasonings...
Onion Powder - generously
Garlic Powder- generously
Lemon Pepper - generously
Thyme - medium amt.
Lawry's Sesoned Salt- Just a little
Sage- Just a littlle
Rub all of these seasoning under the skin of the chicken. You should really "see" the seasonings..don't be shy
Next...cut up sweet onion and generously lay them on top
Next, you will need something called, "Better Than Bouillon" creamy chicken base (Jewel Food store sells this and it is great in recipes.) Mix a couple of tablespoons of this in hot water and pour around chicken (don't pour directly or you will take away all of the seasonings or actually, you can put this in the pan first.
Note: CVS Pharmacy sells really nice (not the cheap looking stuff) seasonings, like Thyme, Bay leaves, etc, for 99 cents or less.
This chicken will smell, look, and taste incredible
Sounds like a lot, but, it's really fast and simple.

Spread 8 oz cream cheese on bottom of 9x13 pan. Spread can of hormel no bean chilli on top of that. Sprinkle 8 oz. bag shredded mozerella cheese on that. Bake at 400 until cheese is melted - about 15 min. Eat with tortilla chips. This is soooo yummy & easy. It is a chip dip really, but we use it for an easy meal since there's chili in it - have some fruit on the side & it's not so unhealthy. :)

One of my favorites growing up. Boil 2-3 boneless chicken breast and cube. Cook chicken flavored rice a roni to directions. When you add the water, also add the chicken and some frozen broccoli. After it has simmered 15-20 minutes sprinkle with cheese.
