You can use the same olive oil you cook with for your scalp.
I prefer to use jojoba oil. It is non-comedogenic and doesn't have any smell. It also washes out easily so I don't have any greasy build up. I buy Desert Essence Jojoba Oil @ Trader Joe's. Whole Foods and other natural food stores probably carry it too.
Joico K-Pak Conditioner is the best for dry hair. It can be used as a daily conditioner or as a mask.
Pre-natal vitamins are the best for healthy hair.

hi, yes it is the same olive oil. a great multi vitamin is source of life by natures plus. it has everything in it. You can not find this at a drug or food store yo will have to go to a natural vitamin store. I will also recommend JOJOBA OIL. This has been the best for me. I use nothing else. The hair is light soft and flows. I would go the a health food store. not gnc or any place like that

if you want an oil for your hair try almond oil you can buy it in the chemist by the baby products as it is good for cradle cap.. Would not use this kind of thing for dry hair though i would get a good protein rich conditioner and comb it through your hair cover in plastic and put a towel on your head to keep the heat in and leave this on for a couple of hours then massage it into your scalp and rinse off do this twice a week and have regular trims

You CAN use the stuff that you cook with but that can be messy. I would go to the ethnic hair section at wal-mart or a beauty supply store. They have all kinds of great olive oil treatments.
