Don't you think that point of Valentine's Day should be that you spend time together rather than spending money? It's the shops that have put forward the whole 'buy your gf/wife a card or you don't really love them' crap.
And before anyone says anything about I'm only saying it because I didn't get any cards myself, I have a bf and we agreed weeks ago not to waste money on cards.

Be glad u have that.
U sound like a spoilt brat, some of us got nothing , some of us wont get anything, some of us don't have boy/girl friends, some people live with violent partners and poss got a kicking,
Its not how much u spend, its the company and how is done.....so stop acting the diva and just say thank u and tell him u love him.

don't think about the price or that he's not getting you anything....I know you feel unappreciated, but some man are just not big on valentine's day....think of the other times that he'd been really sweet, when he doesn't need a red calendar day to make it special....but if you think you're not really happy with how he generally treats you (or taken you forgranted) then talk it over with him...I always find communication to work.

Next year [if you are together] why not arrange for a friend to send you a card [totally anonymous] and when it arrives be all over b/f pretending you think it's from him. That will worry him no end!!

If he's that cheap then dump his *** and make him jealous. It's not right for him to tell you something like that and get away without you being able to do something.Plus you're lucky he even spent that much on you,you little weirdo!!

If it's about money at this stage for you, then you don't deserve him. He's at least making a gesture, even if he's not getting you a card!
I feel for him if he's not measuring up to your expectations.

Stop playing the victim. You should be grateful for your cheap hamburger.
J/k, tell him you feel unappreciated. If he sucks that bad just break up.
