I have fine hair and lately I have been losing a lot of hair that is freaking me out!! I know I have been in a lot of stress lately and that is a cause, but it's too much for hair loss in one day. I used a hair treatment called Fermodyl that comes in bottles (blisters) and you put them every three days and should control your hair loss. It doesn't not work for me. I have also used the brand Placenta but it doesn't have for hair loss/strengthen hair.

Can anyone recommend me a brand that I can buy at the drugtores that has helped you control hair loss??
Thank you...

The best advice I can give you is to take a good multivitamin(most women like to take prenatal vitamins for hair and nail growth), and massage the scalp, either with your hands or a long session of brushing with a soft bristled brush (i prefer boar bristle). Hair and hair growth is controlled through your blood and lymphatic system. Most non-prescription hair loss remedies stress scalp massage. It's not the product that works, it's the scalp stimulation.

If that doesn't work for you, talk to your regular stylist. She may be able to suggest a method to "cure" your hair loss.

It's also important to note that once a year people "molt" for about 3 months. you loose more than the average 100 hair a day.

Don't buy hair products at drug stores, salons are best. I work at one. Try Nioxin-sold at salons only-you have to use it for months, but it works. You should also get your thyroid checked. It is normal for everyone to lose a little hair each day, but if you are losing a lot, it may be a thyroid problem causing it-its just a simple blood test. You are right, stress is a factor, too.

Try Kadus treatment for hair loss (shampoo and ampules for local treatment)

I use a green shampoo called Thicker Fuller Hair. I hear that Progaine shampoo is good too. However, you might want to see a doctor (maybe a dermatologist).
