I prefer to keep them all titled Bridesmaids or all Maid of Honor because I love them all the same. My sister, sister in law, and best friend of 11 years are in my wedding this June. People keep asking me who my maid of honor is and I tell them I don't have one. Couple of people looked at me strange. Is this really a problem? My fiance is only having his brother in the wedding as the best man. I really do not feel like picking on of my girls to be the maid of honor when they are really all maid of honors to me. What do you think?

you call them whatever you wish. you dont need to call one your maid of honour if you dont want. But someone is going to have to stand next to you and that person will be considered the "maid of honour" also that girl will have to be a witness and sign the papers, so you will have to either ask one to do this and put them in order where everyone is standing and make it clear that they are all equal and just bridesmaids, or you can let them decide..

Just remember that this is your day. I am getting married in June and decided not to have any brides maids or a Maid of Honor. This way I will not hurt anyones feelings and it makes my life a little easier. My fiance has several friends and brothers from his fraternity and he was worried about hurting their feelings as well. So we decided to just keep it simple. If you want three Maid of Honors then go for it. They can pick and choose what they will be responsible for.

Traditionally, yes, you do. However, today, there are really no rules to this decision. At my brother's wedding, the bride had two maid of honors. If there is a big issue in the family with having to pick just one, i would say pick your sister, but have special mention for the other two.

This is your day! people get caught up in the "rules" of a wedding instead of appreciating what its for. The only reason most people make someone their maid of honor is because its usually up to them to throw u a shower...at least thats the way its done where im from. If u already have someone throwing u a shower than no worries. There is no right or wrong to a wedding in my opinion

Weddings are done so differently these days. Brides are the one planning and paying for them. I say you do either make them all brides maids or maids of honor....More help the merry!!!! Good Luck

traditionally...your maid of honor and best man sign the marriage certificate as witnesses. so...you'd have to pick someone else to sign the certificate if you don't have a maid of honor. plus, the maid of honor is supposed to handle stuff for you.

No. A friend of mine had two bride maids and neither one of them had that title. do what you want, it's your wedding.

You can have all be bridesmaids, but you need one female to sign your marriage license. I say ask your mom to do it, so no hurt feelings.

You can do it any way that you want ;-) It's your special day, and if they are all equally special to you that you want to give them all the same title, it is completely up to you :-)

The bride has spoken. You've already made your decision and no one has anything to say about it.
