I really like this guy! my friends tell me that he likes me and he talks about me all the time and we talk on the fone like friends and at skool! He hugs me everyday and he got me something for v day but he says he is not ready for a girlfriend rite now! I need to no what to do! I don't want to pressure him or something and he always gives me his jacket and stuff like that! He told my friend that he doesn't want me to move on that he wants me to wait until he is ready. I need to know if he likes me??

Don't pay any attention to him for about 2 weeks. Then, see what he's up to. If he likes you he will show a lot of interest, probably before 2 weeks is up.

He's not ready for a girlfriend? That can mean two things, probably a combination:
1. He's not ready for the obligation/pressure, whatever that means.
2. He doesn't want to be restricted to just one girl.
You can try talking to him and seeing if it's more #1 or more #2. If it's more #1, you may be able to talk him out of his position. If it's more #2, there's nothing you can do, unless you're willing to date somebody in an non-exclusive relationship.

He's given you an answer already if he says he's "not ready for a girlfriend right now".
Leave him alone and find someone else.

Well how long has it been and does he talk to anyone else. He probaly does and wants to wait if it will work and wait to clear stuff up so yeah he does

I think that maybe he just doesn't want to ruin the friendship you have right now. If I were you, i'd maybe talk to him and see what he thinks about taking it into a relationship.
