I need a guys imput here..what does this mean?

So, I like this guy a lot he is a good friend of mine and well the other day I asked him what it is about me that guys dont like because I have a hard time finding guys. And he just said well I cant speak for all guys because every guy likes something different. And then he looked at me and smiled and said well I like everything about you, your personality everything thats why I hang out with you a lot. I dont know if that means anything or nothing any advice?

Amy, I am sure he is interested in you. To be honest most men would not spend alot of time with a girl unless there was an attraction. There are two ways to definitely find out. 1- Is to ask him "Would you date me(pause) If we weren't such good friends. Make sure you pause before say if we weren't such good friends, so you can judge he reaction. Or 2- Tell him about this wonderful new guy you met and how incredible he is and watch his reaction. You should be able to find out for sure either way. But if you realize he does don't be scared to tell him you like him too, that won't get either of you anywhere.

Don't you think that your friend may have interest in you? He apparently likes everything about you........ why are you still trying to find a guy? He's right in front of you and trying to tell you. If he doesn't like you (not wanting to be your b/f) and just said that to be nice, then he means that he doesn't seem to know why guys may not have interest in you and that he doesn't see anything bad about you. Else, he is tell you why he likes you.

Yes. He's telling you that he doesn't just like you, which you already know he does, but that he LIKES you. Unless there's some weird reason to think he's making that up -- well, then he probably likes you.

I assume that like almost every other female on the surface of the planet, you're not perfect-looking. It sounds like he's already decided that in your case that's OK.

Amy D, you're making a common female mistake - you are overthinking!!

Men aren't like women - we don't use double talk, we don't give hints, we don't talk in riddles!! That's how your girlfriends talk, that's NOT how your male friends talk.

Your buddy meant EXACTLY what he said - he can't speak for all men so he doesn't know why they don't want to date you. But he thinks you are attractive and that's why he's friends with you.

He was saying that to be nice, and to make you feel better about yourself, that you are desirable and someday a man will want you. He was not trying to make a pass at you (if he was, you'd know it - we men aren't subtle about that!!)

Now, if you want to date him, just ask - I'm sure he'd date you if he thought you'd be willing to go out with him!

hes shy and as of right now thats the closest he can get to saying he wants to be with you. he didnt give you any 'advice' because he wants you to know hes interested, even if hes to shy to say it straight up. if you want to be with him, unfortunatly you are the one who has to get the ball rolling. just ask him if he would be interested in being more then friends with you, and id be willing to bet my last dollar that he will say yes. good luck!
