It not a question of "belief".
It a theory based on data. At this point in time, there has been no contradictory evidence to suggest something else. Perhaps in the future, another theory may invalidate it.
Intelligent Design does not invalidate evolution, because it has no supporting data. Faith is not empirical.

What makes you think all Christians are creationalists? Did it ever occur to you that evolution is biblical and coincides perfectly with the bible? What if the garden of eden was in heaven, a spiritual testing grounds instead of a physical place? What if the 6 "days" of creation were not 24 hour days, but thousand year days? 2 Peter says, "A day to the Lord is as a 1,000 years." There is evidence of evolution but it doesn't contract the bible. It brings more glory to God so long as you believe he created the cycles that brought about evolution.

regrettably, specific. i don't comprehend how they are in a position to deal with the cognitive dissonance. you at the instant are not properly-knowledgeable in view which you do no longer comprehend that concept is the optimal point in technological awareness. it is not a wager. it incredibly is ignorant to assert "in basic terms an theory". the difficulty-loose ancestor of all apes (alongside with human beings and chimps) is a monkey and which will properly be shown on your delight. It does not count number on the theory of evolution. it incredibly is a actuality. Theories have not got info which in easy terms applies in arithmetic. Theories have info. there is not any info of a god of any sort. Theories are falsifiable. this might properly be a characteristic, no longer a trojan horse. If info is produced that exhibits yet another concept or this one needs exchange, then we found out something and are grateful for it. faith does not have that characteristic. And it incredibly is requred. So creation with the help of a god isn't able to being an theory. by using fact the invention of mitochodrial DNA ancestry might properly be desperate with the help of genetic mapping and we don't desire bones to verify the theory. Theories make predictions and could be used to advance different theories and open up completely new traces of inquiry. the theory of evolution is wise by using fact is works, no longer unavoidably by using fact it incredibly is actuality. Evolution is actuality yet organic determination is an theory. backside line is that it incredibly works. God as an evidence does not artwork for us and is no longer in all threat an answer in that regard. Its an excuse to no longer think of approximately it.

I don't "believe in" evolution. I accept it because of all the overwhelming evidence to support it. And frankly I don't care whether or not you think it's a "load of B.S." that only tells me you've never bothered to study it.
As far as the universe (that's in cosmology, not biology), no one needed to have created it. The universe aroused naturally. If everything needed a creator, then who created your God? And if he didn't have a creator, then why does the universe need one?

I don't believe it to be true.
I know it to be true.
All the evidence in multiple fields of science support it. There isn't a lick of evidence for special creation. Your implication of, "where did rock come from" is "Where did the universe come from?" The current scientific answer to that is: "We still need to figure out quantum gravity before we can even address that topic. Help us with that problem or get out of the way until we figure it out."

To much evidence against it to believe it. Why waste your time in believing in a theory that creationists disprove everyday..
You know what would make me a happy camper. If you chose me as best answer, and some hot coccoa, but best answer is fine
You know what makes me mad. When we say that science says everything has a Creator and they say what created God. You said so yourself God isn't science. So quit using this crap.
Once again best answer would be nice, maybe a pickle, but best answer is fine

I accept that animals evolve. Extending that mechanism over time to explain how life developed makes sense. It is the best explanation we have at this time.

Evolution doesn't require faith anymore than gravity.
Its superstitious theories that contradict all the evidence that require blind faith.
I'm sorry the education system failed you.
