Ok so I still love her even after 4 months, so I cant just not say happy v-day, so this is what i came up with (by the way "punk" is not a bad thing, we like to play around like that)--- "hey punk! well i know im not your valentine this year but ur still a special girl to me so Im just dropping by to say happy valentines day :)" Too much? too little? should I not send anything at all? Please help me out here ladies! By the way We are both in out early 20's so no answers from girls under like 19 please... even though I know your opinion counts, i just want to keep it in our age range. Thanks for your help ladies!

Actually, I think it's great! You maybe good of put something in there like "hey punk! well i know im not your valentine this year-your loss- Maybe that would make it cuter and take away any tension! Either way, I like it....

Sending a text is worthless because it's passive and slightly cowardly. If you really want to wish her a happy valentine's day then you have to get the courage to call her and say "Happy Valentine's Day" on her VM or if she picks up the phone, say that you were thinking about her. You'll be surprised how much more respect she'll have for your direct approach.

I think it is appropriate and does not say too much. I am going to assume you two still talk and have a good relationship now. It is nice to remain friends with an ex. Unfortunately, that has never happened to me. I do speak to any of my exes. Be glad you do! Send her the text!

I think if you love her still its perfect. I call my man punky-b, and he calls me pipi-L. So i understand the punk thing. anyway, if you are trying to get back with her, maybe you want to add a little bit to the message. If you just want to wish her a Happy Valentines day, then that is fine.

I think thats a good message, it shows that you still value her friendship and care about her but are not overly obsessed with trying to get her back. Good luck and Happy Valentine's Day!

dont send anything. it'll drive her more crazy if she doesnt hear from you. if she thinks youre out with someone else or that you dont care she'll think about you that much more. unless shes moved on, in that case its better not send anything anyway. but if you feel like you really need to send it, send it. good luck

I think it depends on who broke up with whom. If you broke up with her or did something to cause her to break up with you, then I think you should leave her alone.

How long did you date?
