Just wondering if anyone had any info on the origin of hair dye, like the oldest found evidence of it, and how it was done?

Otherwise, any specific places (internet, ect.) where I may be able to find some of this info?

I guess it was henna, and some herbal dyes like boiled walnut shells, but if you visit some sites depicting ancient everyday life you can find how ladies of ancient Rome used complicated procedures to get blond curls

the origin of hair dye come from asia .there the people use henna as a dye & they use it for temperory tatto too.so basically the idea come from henna ,its obtained by a tree ,grinding its leaves to make a powder which is used for dye.
