I'm going out on a limb here by assuming you mean how to mix your own colors! To make pink, all you need is red food coloring. If it's for a white-based product, like icing, you just need to add a drop or two of liquid food coloring.

You really can't do this with foods that already have a tint, such as yellow cake mix. In technical terms, the color ends up yucky!

For the best, clearest pink, I would suggest you go to Hobby Lobby, Michael's or Walmart and pick up some paste food coloring. There are a lot of different shades and, because they're paste, they won't change the consistency of your food.

Now, on the off-chance that you truly want to use natural products to make your own coloring, use things like beet juice. Bleah. A good rule of thumb is that anything that stains your fingers is also going to tint your food.

Happy cooking!
