15 years ago some friends arrived by bus to the bus station in downtown Los Angeles. It was a building of several stories. Does that bus station still exist?

Greyhound used have a terminal at Los Angeles and 6th -they
had ticketing on the first level,
the 2nd level was the bus loading area,,
, and the local transit agency know back then as SCRTD used
the lower level of the station,,.
they have moved to what used be their maintenance base
thats where Greyhound load and discharge now -right smack
in the middle of skid row.,.
and the old Greyhound/RTD still exists as several business are
operating in or around the building

There is a greyhound station on Alameda just south of 7th street in downtown LA. You can also get them at Union station and on Olympic as well

Did your friend use Greyhound? There is Union station that supports the trains and metros but the bus station i know is located in east L.A. in the skid row district.

There are other bus stations if you are looking for one in L.A

Union Station is alive and well.
If you are referring to the Greyhound station, I believe it is unchanged in its nasty location.
