I would get one at a dog show - that's where I get all of mine.
They are just as inexpensive as the online stores - plus they carry every color.
Since Irish Setters are large & strong, I would suggest a chain link choke collar & a separate lead. I use the kind without the buckle - it just slips through itself on onto the collar.
That way there is no risk of it accidentally coming unsnapped in the ring.
I have Collies - also large & strong. So I wouldn't use a nylon collar cuz you just don't have enough control over a naughty puppy (which I suspect an Irish Setter would be!)
If you get it at the dog show - you can even try it on your puppy for the right fit.
If there are no shows coming up near you - (which I doubt since they're everywhere!) - you can also get them online.
Someone suggested www.cherrybrook.com - or www.jbpet.com - or www.petexpress.com
All great sites for dog show supplies!
Good luck with your puppy.

A good Irish Setter that's good trained and well presented could make an brilliant show dog. As far as showing in Obedience, they can do good at that, but it takes a cussed owner :) i know of a gaggle of Irish Setter owners that proficient their dogs to compete for a specialty. Outgoing, flashy Setters are excellent in the ring. Shy/timid ones, don't do well.

go to a dog show - i've always found the vendors there have the best show collars and leads, prices and variety! you can try it on your dog and make sure it will fit and work like you want. pet stores and most pet catalogs just don't carry what you need for showing.

an excellent Irish Setter that is nicely experienced and nicely offered can make an miraculous tutor canine. so a lengthy way as exhibiting in Obedience, they can do nicely at that, notwithstanding it takes a obdurate proprietor :) i recognize of a set of Irish Setter vendors that experienced their canine to compete for a sturdy factor. Outgoing, flashy Setters are tremendous in the hoop. Shy/timid ones, do no longer do nicely.

I also agree with getting it at a show. you can try them on and see what looks best on your dog and often the sellers will run show specials that might save you some $$$
