LUKE 17:2, MARK 9:42, and MATT 18:6
Jesus said if anyone harms a child it would be better for him to have a millstone tied around his neck and be cast into the sea. A millstone was so large that it usually took at least two or three men to move it. If one had that tied around his neck and was thrown into the sea he would drown for sure!

While I feel that raping or sexually abusing a child is a heinous crime and probably not a sin, the laws will never make pedophiles undergo the death penalty. That said, I do feel that there should be much stronger penalties for pedophiles. You're right. 2 to 3 years in jail doesn't do anything. I read a story about a pedophile released after that time and he immediately moved to within a few blocks of an elementary school. Guess what he did? I feel that pedophiles should be held indefinitely in asylums or in detention centers especially for their kind and never allowed out into the world and around children again. There have been numerous examples to support the thought that jail-time doesn't help, and that their disgusting tendencies never really go away. So why the heck would a pedophile be released back into normal society, where the person could hurt someone else? It makes no sense to me. Something definitely needs to be done.

Civilization cannot exist without respect for law and order. Almost all countries consider it immoral and illegal to rape a child and provide what they consider just punishment for those who commit such heinous crimes. Most currently do not consider death to be an appropriate punishment for the crime of rape unless there are aggravating circumstances.

I am in favor of harsh penalties for those who rape, but it's still a question in my mind whether death is a just punishment or not. My primary concern is that human justice is fallible. Once a person has been executed, he cannot be liberated, should it turn out that he was wrongly convicted.

I believe Pedophiles and Rapists should be castrated then sent to prison for life! I know, No one wants to pay taxes to feed some pedophile or rapist, but their suffering would be immense and better than death. Death is too good for all these people.
It's sad society allows these people the freedom to go out and do it all over again.
