I have been making this soup for years, you can have it done in a half hour.
This recipe makes about 3-4 cups of soup. Use a large saucepan for this.
Slice up about 3 cups of mushrooms, use different kinds for variety, if you want to.
Chop about a half small onion and saute it for a couple minutes, in a couple tablespoons of butter. Don't let them brown. Now add the mushrooms to the pan and saute them till tender. They will start to release some juices to the pan, that's my cue that they're done. Whisk 6 tablespoons of flour into 3 cups of water till well blended, then add it to the pan. Stir it till it boils and let it boil while stirring, for a couple minutes, or till the flour smell is gone, and it is nicely thick. Bring the heat down to a simmer and add 3 level teaspoons of chicken bouillon, about a cup of heavy cream, salt and white pepper to taste and a pinch of dry parsley flakes. Keep your heat down real low and stir it often as you cook it for another ten minutes. Delicious.
Trust me, it's harder to write it out than it is to make it!

Get a can of Campbell's mushroom soup and put it in a sauce pan with about a half to 3/4 can of milk and heat it up. Enjoy!
