Why or why not? What has your partner done to make you feel special today? And do you ever feel Valentines day is over rated and useless? Whats your thoughts on how much a guy/girl should spend on Valentines day to make it thoughtful? Or is that over rated as well? (All comments are welcome!)

Valetine's day is what you make of it. My wife and I are middle aged, so we acknowledge each other with small tokens and go on with our business. We know we love each other and that's all we need. As far as the holiday we could take it or leave it. I'll be just as in love with her tomorrow as I am today...maybe more.

that's a very commercialized affair, and seems lots greater for women human beings than for adult men. On Valentine's Day my spouse supplies me a stunning card and a hug& kiss, yet she seems quite dissatisfied if i don't get her flora, or a "romantic" present, or take her out to a stunning eating place, etc. And it is not as though I ignore to tell her and prepare her how lots i like and get exhilaration from her on a customary foundation in the process the the remainder of the three hundred and sixty 5 days. I wager my journey is quite usual.

My wife gave me a singing Valentine card. It was LOUD! It scared the heck out of me when I opened it and it went off. I can see the headline now: Man has heart attack from Spouse's Valentine!

Totally useless holiday. My bf came to see me last night (we live an hr apart) and we will not be seeing each other again until Friday . . . does not mean he or I care any less about each other just because we don't spend today together.
