So Ive been dating this guy for over 3 years, off and on all through college. He recently got a job and moved 13 hours away from me. Weve tried to work things out until I can move out their in may and Ive flown out their twice to see him, as well as him coming here. He broke up with me Sunday night saying that he was trying to focus on his career. This morning he called me at 9am to see how the wheather was here. Who calls someone at 9am to ask a question like that? No Happy Valentines day, No card, of course no flowers...Someone please tell me this is my ok to get rid of him permently. I love him more than anything in this world, but isnt that a sign to me that HELLO he doesn't give a S**T about me?

You wrote all that just to answer your own question at the end. Of course he doesn't give a ****!! He is 13 hours away and by his career he meant his new relationship with a girl in the same town. You were to expensive to maintain. flyin here and there was just not appealing. I think the best thing you could do is click on my profile, send me and email with your phone number and location so I can show you a real man treats a women!! Forget him hunny.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

Sounds like he's just a friend now, move on, your better than that, I don't that was a good excuse, (I am a guy btw) people can work things out with their careers if they really wanted to. Besides the distance thing might have been hard on the two of u. The 9 am thing was very weird, maybe he was havin' regrets but got his tongue all tied. Good Luck!

You are right on the money. Let go of this guy. If he can't focus on his career and you too, he's not worth you time.

Luckily for you, the distance will make this a lot easier. Just don't fall in to a trap of trying to call him for a while. You need time to heal. It's not easy but you deserve someone who takes time for you.

he is not sure about his decision on ur relationship...
u should think carefully if u really wanna be with him again and stand for the long-distance love. I think it is realy difficult for two.
or leave it all behinad ,forget then all. move forward..
