Can anyone speak from experience here? And would they have enough in common to marry in the first place?

not if they were a real jew or muslim. But since there aren't many real (fill in any religion here), no problem.

if you're not peaceful and and don't have anything in common as B/F and G/F then why would you go on to marry. I'm sorry but that just doesn't make sense. you marry because you love and are committed to one another and all them other good words/reasons so why would you marry if your marriage is based on something else other than what I've said. remember you don't marry to divorce and if you knew that your marriage wasn't going to last then i don't think you'd marry (by "you" I'm referring to anybody)

Any relationship can work; reagardless of the religions involved, as long as they respect one another and accept each other's beliefs. I know of many Muslim/Christian couples who are very happy, and another who cannot even discuss their religious differences. If people love one another, they will find a way to make it work.

Yes because of course for most sane people religion is just one of many things in your life. And I know two couples who have been together over 10 years.

Considering the rules both impose on married couples, it would not be possible if both followed what they were taught.

There is every chance provided that both sides leave them alone and do not interfere, moralize or make either feel guilty of apostasy !

my in-laws are like that!
My father-in-law is Muslim, and my mother-in-law is Jewish.
they have been married for 40-50 years.

yes, and im sure there are. but mayb in palestine or israel, no! some crazy person would find out and no longer would that couple be alive :(
