O.K. I'm 14 years old. Im currently using Ceramic Hot Tools Straightener. Iv had it since i was 13 and it's time for a new one. Money does not matter. I would like a CERAMIC hair straightener that works well. I have VERY thin hair, and naturally straight but i straighten it anyways. Don't ask why. I just do, it makes it look nicer. I heard CHI is good, but i don't need such a high temerature cause my hair is thin.

ALSO* My hair is dry. Are there any products that WORK and that will get my hair hydrated?

Thank you so much!!

My advice is to get away from hair straighteners as soon as possible. They mess up your hair so bad. Trust me you'll regret it when your my age. Hair won't grow, so many different layers that are like 1 inch long, can't do anything with it. Yeah so try to get away from them if possible.

A ceramic straightener should not burn your hair. But dont straighten your hair if it is still wet and also i would suggest getting a Moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. There are also product for after you straighten you hair to lessen the damage done. All straighteners will over time hurt your hair a ceramic one is the best choice and if you take care of your hair well then it should never happen......... you could also take breaks from striaghtening your hair so it has a chance to revive another thing is to wash your hair in cold water whic would make in shinier

Since you don't have thick curly hair a drugstore brand would work just as well as professional tools. I have curly hair and I use Remington Wet 2 Straight ceramic straightener. It can be used on wet to moist hair and has a vent on the side for the steam. I think it cost about $40 at Longs Drugs.

Yes, you are correct CHI is definitely the best...you should check and see if they have any straighteners that have a lower temp. or you could always use Kenra Thermal Styling Spray, which will protect your hair against the high temperatures of straighteners.

I too have very dry hair, and Redken has a lot of products that can make your hair look and feel much healthier. You should try Redken AllSoft Heavy Creme, Redken Butter Treat, or Redken Extreme Deep Conditioner. These products are all wonderful for dry hair.

I would go with the Aveda ceramic hair streightner it has a warranty and multiple temp controls. Also for drying of the hair try aquage, its a bit pricey but WELL worth it, its a must have.

Yes, there are products that help and work but all you have to do is some research. Here's a website that will help you decide what straightener is right for you. I bought mine from this website and I couldn't be happier with my purchase (it is a Solia). They have tons of reviews with pictures.

theres a mary-kate and ashley brand hair straightener that straitens your hair whether you came out of the shower or you are just styling it. It really does work well.
