Tattoo removal cremes do not work.... Laser is the only thing that works and it may leave scars....In fact I have seen pictures of someone getting tattooed to hide laser scars gotten from having a tattoo removed........if you can believe that. If your trying to remove the tattoo because of poor placement .......can't help ya. However if your trying to remove the tattoo because you hate it....(which is happening in my case).....You might consider getting it covered. Your best bet is to go to the best artist you can find.....and put yourself in his hands. He should be able to cover your tattoo with something floral or tribal (shudder) if you're trying to cover a name. Go to www.tattooartists.org and click on tattoos by theme then click on coverups.....they have several hundred examples.
hope this helps

I can tell you that no cream or over-the-counter solution will work. The only way to remove a tattoo is with laser surgery. It will usually take several treatments, and some colors are extremely difficult to remove (such at turquoise). You also run the risk of scarring where the tattoo was. That's why tattoos should be a fairly serious decision... they are pretty much permanent, and that's no overexaggeration.

if you are trying to get a tattoo removed than I'd go for lazier removal. the fact that your tattoo is probably outlined in black ink will make it really difficult for your tattoo to fade away with these so called creams and patches. laser will work way better

i once considered using tca to remove a tattoo i had and i emailed the company to see if they could send me pictures of former tattoos removed with their product. they didn't respond so my guess would be that it doesn't work as well as they claim. i asked my tattoo artist about it and he said he'd rather just cover it than have me try to remove it and have a bad result or to mess up my skin.

Unfortunately none of them really works. It seems that laser removal is the single efficient solution so far.
