I think I would go with LDS since the potential payoff is eternal sex. (At least, that's how I understand LDS)/

Yeah....with Mormonism you get your own planet too. Sweet. I'll wager on that one.

72 virgins? Virgins are overrated, man.

Well, it probably depends on whether you have to live by all their teachings in this life. Either way, I've studied hundreds of religions and made an educated decision based on logic and inspiration/prayer. The rewards of following the LDS faith is great, but you would have to follow them to get that eternal sex reward.

Pascal's Wager is a fool's wager, because in the end, you get nothing, no matter what. Eternal sex, eh? Wouldn't that get a bit old after a while?

Crude, but the logic is good. Pick the religion that has the best eternal reward. LDS wins that one hands-down.

You must be a guy. The eternal payoff for women in LDS is being perpetually pregnant. That would be Hell not Heaven. I would choose Gnosticism or Buddhism.

I have already chosen. If that recuses me, then I guess you don't have to read the rest of my post!

I have my problems with Pascal's Wager-- and I am a Christian. This is because the faith that I now carry is in my heart-- I don't think that Pascal's Wager is enough to go that deep.

Church of the Subgenius.....

That way I'd be taken away with the sex aliens. Same rationale as you...just a different mechanism.

Choose the religion that has good benefit-to-cost ratio. I chose protestant Christianity. Great benefits, low cost.

Frisbeetarian.

I'd be rich if I had back every single Frisbee I have lost. Plus I really want to see what is on top of my roof.
