yes it will grow back. It was probably shaved there because the dog had yucky tear stains there, and Groomers do this because its easier on the dog than scrubbing the area to try and get it out, possibly hurting them. I use to work in a Pet Store as a grooming Assistant, and sometimes we just had to shave things like that out. People didn't like picking their dogs up and seeing nasty tear stains still on the dog after it was groomed. We tried explaining it to them we couldn't get it out, but they ended up always getting their groom for free. That kind of stuff irked me so bad. Its like well then take you dog to the vet and make sure it doesn't have some kind of eye infection. We are not vets and we don't have magic wands to wave. Grooming is sometimes stressful on the dogs (and they are going to react) and us and it takes some hard work and effort. Anyways, enough ranting... I have tried whitening shampoos which only seem to lighten up the fur to a lighter brown. tear Stain removers\wipes, but they only make it go away for a short time. Some people suggest things a simple as a change in diet, health, and even genetics play important factors. I mean how do they get those show dogs faces to stay so white? I posted a few links to help you. Good Luck! :)

Yes it will grow back.
Poodles get their faces shaved, as do Poodle mixes, and other breeds of dogs. Trust me...the hair grows back in and it won't take too long.

If you do not like the look, you can request your groomer leave the face full next time. Just be sure to keep it combed out. Once it gets matted..the only option is to clip it short. Trying to dematt and comb out matts is painful on the dog...especially on the face.

If there was hair to shave, then it will grow back. It was shaved not removed with a laser!

Yes, it will grow back, just like human hair. (Had it been plucked or waxed it might be different). If you want them to leave her mustach/ears/eyes/beard etc next time, ask them to leave her head furnishings, or you can ask them to trim her furnishings but keep them in tact.
