Thank you for a very sweet gesture. With manners like this, I doubt you'll be spending Valentine's Day alone too often. And I agree, it's definitely an over-rated holiday. Seems like too many people are rushing out to make up for all the bad they put into their relationships throughout the year on this one day. Hope you have a wonderful Valentine's, as well.

I'm single by choice so I don't care about Valentine's day or about what others do, but I still got a chuckle at last Sunday's For Better or For Worse 'toon, url in the source :)

Thank you very much for the greeting. Valentine's day is nearly over here. I haven't been single for nearly 25 years but it seems it amounts to much the same thing, I think v-day is overated too. You shouldn't need and excuse to treat your partner with love and respect. I very much hope you enjoyed your lunch and the rest of your day.

Gosh, I am in Ireland, and couldn't understand at first why are you saying it now, at 8 p. m. ... :)
Then I realised that it is not that late in America.
Ha-ha.
Anyway, tomorrow, all will be forgoten, though I am married, I believe it does fell kinda stupid and discriminating when everything around reminds of romance.
However, remember, St. Valentine's is a day for everyone who loves, you can congratulate your friends and your family just as well. Take care now!
