Naqsbandi sufi's would be Muslim, not Hindu - though some will be tolerant of Hinduism. Can't help you with the specifics though. Are their even a reasonable amount of Muslims in Chennai? Find those first, they may be able to help you.

so would i....what i know about sufi is the concept of love and beloved...the highest form of love is love of god...and when you are in love you are in divinity....you become love....the difference between you and i vanishes and what reamins is only love.
