I would say no. mainland china it is not safe to drink tap water. Korea is the same. If your staying at a hotel they will provide you with boiled water in flasks. Other than that drink bottle water or boil your own.

According to the Water Supplies Department HK, it's safe to drink tap water. But still I think you'd better drink boiled water.

Don't drink taps water in HK. You might not want to drink any cold drink with ICE too.

Regardless of safety claims by which ever hotel, restaurant or government agency, DON'T drink water direct from the taps.
Hong Kong is in the tropics and the only safe method of drinking tap watrer is by boiling it first.

Better to drink bottled water. Tap water won't necessarily make you sick, but there is other stuff you don't really want to put in your system.
