Photoshop is an expensive program to own and use, and they are very strict on their licensing which would make pirating it a challenge.
You may be interested in Gimp - it's an open source free version of photoshop available for all platforms (Windows, Mac and linux)... in fact I think it started off as a linux version of photoshop (and everything in linux is typically free) which was carried to the other platforms.
However I have no idea about compatibility with Vista if you're running that.
Of course the real trick is learning how to use it (though photoshop and gimp are very similar).

do a search at download.com for photo editing software, but photoshop is not free, however i think you can get a free trial at download.com. Photoshop runs between $70 and $700 depending on what version and year. I have photoshop 7 and its the best.
