so that no one would question them and blindly go along. After all,no one wants to dis obey God,right or there would be cosequences, but that is the big lie,it is mans law and words.God wants us to question every thing and not be a sucker, even his existance and that is alright,he is not going to banish you to hell, that is a big fat lie.Loving creators dont do that

So you are saying that God is not powerful enough to preserve his word through sinful men? I think not. You earn for yourself hell, he doesn't need to do anything except give you what your deserve for yourself.

I believe the prophets were spoken to by God in some way or another and they put that message to paper the best they could. You have to take into account that the old testament that we read today was written in Hebrew,a language that does not translate word for word into English. The same applies for the new testament which was written in Greek. The books in the Bible were not written specifically for our generation we have to interpret the message the best we can, that's why there are so many divisions in the Cristian faith. God does want us to question not just Him but everything that's why He gave us this big brain. God knows the more we ask about Him, the more we learn and the more we learn the closer we get to Him.

God inspired men to write what He wanted written. If you STUDY the Bible, which most don't, the puzzle fits. Man alone could not have written these things and make them fit. Daniel wrote many things he did not understand. God told him to seal them up, these things are not meant for you to understand. Man will understand in the last days.

This person realizes it and agrees, but Boy are you going to take some heat for asking this!

You might ask of some of these people who insist the Quaran, Bible, etc. is the end-all and be-all: If God decided to spell everything out for us precisely 2000 years ago, why hasn't he talked to us since?

Hey does any one have a Bible autographed by the "Man". I mean if he wrote, there should be a least a first edition or a special edition with his John Hancock!

Does the truth hurt?

If after your searching,
He did show you His existence,
and proved the words were true,
including the hell part...

What would you do?

You don't know anything about God apparently. Nor do you know anything about the Bible to say it is written by men. God is the author of the Bible.
