Do you know any websites with resources for starting to do prision missions around local areas in the area where I live?

I want to get started in this but don't know where to stat looking for information and resoures to learn more.

Are there websites that you know of that I could go visit and learn more about this?

Maybe speak to your own pastor, etc.. You may also want to try contacting the department of corrections for your state. They may be able to connect you with someone that has already worked (or is working) in that area.

What's a prision? I think they'd be better off with conjugal visits then missionary work.

How about you spend your time trying to find housing for the homeless, or food for the starving, instead of worrying about what criminals believe in.

my friend visits a womens prison every tuesday. *shrug*

i like how christians think that people in prisons need to be reached out to more then anyone else.

people in prison are no different. they only have gotten caught

Prison missions? How about protest prison rapes instead? I'm sure the prisoners would appreciate that much more.
