Aw, your mom is so fortunate to have such a caring child. She is grieving which is perfectly natural with such a great loss. Just be there for her, comfort her. She may never get over the loss, but it will hurt less as time passes. Maybe you can make dinner for her, or have a nice dinner delivered to your home.

I am a mother of 2 teen agerers I suggest even though it's not fair to you send your bf home and spend the day with your mother and let her know you don't mind and there is nowhere else you would rather be.. God bless you both.

I would get her some flowers and maybe take her to lunch or do some shopping. Take her to get a pedicure-something to take her mind off of it. Maybe put your V-day off until this weekend and you and mom just make a day of it, make it a mother daughter day for years to come so it is not so much of a dread. Sorry about your losses.

If you have money why not take her out to eat for supper or buy her some flowers and a nice card or some candy. Plan something to take her mind off of the day.

just let her grive and let her know how much you love her. Maybe be her valentine. Take her out to dinner. My mother pasted away two months ago and I have been very worried how my dad is going to do but I called him and asked him to be my date for the night.

Love your mom and let her know you do. Try to spend more time with her without the boyfriend around. (Don't eliminate him from your home, just have more "Mom" time.) She will appreciate your gesture.

You will ease her pain by just being near to her and listening if she wants to talk. Remind her that she is loved and be affectionate with her today especially.
