Try drinking warm tea with lemon and honey before you sing. I also like to drop some honey on a spoon and down it right before I go on. Also, make sure your voice is thoroughly warmed up before you sing. If you're doing a long set, have plenty of water onstage with you so you can periodically drink some to stay moisturized. If you sing any particularly "scream-y" songs, move them to the end of your set so you won't have to push your voice any further after that.

drink lemon tea =D it really helps. boil some water, cut lemons, add it into the hot water, add a little bit of honey and keep it in there for awhile and sip. make sure the tea is a bit "sour" to give you a mentholy affect. you should keep a stock of lemon sliced in a container, the juice and lemon should be kept together for awhile, and just spoon out whenever you make the tea.

i would suggest lipics because they taste like candy so you can suck on them all the time and they disolve pretty fast which can be good when you have to perform.
