My 9 year old is always in a hurry to go to bed. He shares a room with his 4 year old. They have bunk beds. My 9 year old keeps sneaking down to the 4 year old bed and kissing him. I hear laughing and something going on under the covers and when i go in the 4 year old says brother is kissing me. The 9 year old denies it. Im worried something else is going on. is this normal?

It may just be playful teasing, but the fact that the 9 year old denies it means he knows it's "not right". Nine years old is too old for this behavior, and 4 years old is too young to know you're being harrassed.

My first instinct would be to separate them. I don't know if this behavior is normal or not, but it is questionable.

I think nothing to worry about, they are young siblings having some fun and perhaps imitating something they have seen on television or in a magazine.

That you hear laughing and not crying or screaming is a good sign so for now, do not concern yourself and be happy they like each other's company.

set up a camera in their room as there may not be another room in the house to seperate the boys. also, ask the 4 year old where he is being kissed.

I am sorry to say it is not normal to that extent. I felt worried and stressed for you just reading this. I think they need to be seperated. I have a daughter and son, we seperated them in our 2 bdrm house. My husband and i sleep in the living room now. Please stress to him that it is not acceptable, it might be feuling problems that could occur later on. Dont chance it. Be strong you will get through it.

There is definately some sexual activity going on. Get the four year old away from his brother and ask WHERE he is kissing him?
