"take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it (Job 38:12-13)
"The earth takes shape like clay under a seal." (Job 38:14)
This is the same author who spoke of grabbing the earth by its "edges." If the Job author had known the earth was round, would he have referred to edges which don't exist, and would he have compared it to clay seals, which are pressed flat?
"[T]he devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them"
The visions of my head as I lay in bed were these: I saw, and behold, a tree in the midst of the earth; and its height was great. The tree grew and became strong, and its top reached to heaven, and it was visible to the end of the whole earth. (Daniel 4:10-11)

as far as I know the bible said the earth was a circle(round) in the heavens. It was wrote in 1450 B.C.
funny because in the 1700-1800 A.D. people were thinking the earth was flat and the center if the universe. also thought that the earth was heal up by something, that it wasn't floating in space.

Well, can I at least say what makes it round, according to the Bible?
-The earth is suspended in space
-Isaiah mentions the 'circle of the earth' in a prophecy
-David said God seperates our sin 'as far as the east is from the west-, i.e. a sphere has no beginning or end
-The Earth has a firm foundation
-Biblical preists circa 4000-5000BC said that Pi was 3.

To reinforce Scott's point. The world is round like a Pizza Pie, not round like a soccer ball. The description also includes the heavens stretched over the earth like a tent, pegged down at the edges, I assume.

Actually, there is a passage somewhere that refers to the "circle of the Earth."
But then, there are some parts that talk about the "four corners of the Earth."
Even before the world was proven to be round, there were people who believed it was round, and people who believed it was flat.

I've got a circle of the earth in Job.
Maybe that mountain was on the moon?

You must know that the whole earth was not populated at that time... So this wouldn't mean that the bible claimed the earth was flat.....
