You have to withdraw completely. If you live with him, walk around like he's not even there. And if you don't, don't call him, and when he calls, say your busy even if your not. Be totally unavailable. Do things to occupy your time. The goal is to let him know how life will be without you. Good Luck.

Usually by telling him you need to talk. That's a big sign that either we screwed up or our girl is about to break up with us. Don't play games with the guy, don't threaten to leave him if he doesn't change something. If you do that odds are he'll be better for a while to keep you around but then after a while it will get back to the same old same old. Good luck.

if you want to make a guy realize that he is about to lose you, start ignoring him. when he calls, tell him you're busy with friends and that you will call him at a later time, and then never call him back. when he finally calls back after he's waited and you've never returned his call...tell him that you are too tired to talk to him and that he will have to call you later. when he comes to see you pretend you are on the phone with someone who wants to take you out and pay for dinner or something. make him feel like he needs to treat you better or he won't have you anymore.

You can tell him that you are starting to lose interest or whatever the case is. Or you can simply put him on hold, and he'll get the picture. If that doesn't wake him up, then he got lost a long time ago.

Simple,if you really want to threaten him, make up an old boyfriend, and start " flirting with him again" tell him you have to go on the phone, because your expecting his call. It will, make him a lot more appreciative, and protective over you. Now, if your not a teenager, or something; try something like.. Telling him you want space, they all take that the wrong way, and flip out, good luck

Slowly start showing interest in other things than what is in your relationship. I dated someone for 5 years and he was shown for a long time he lost me and it didnt all hit him until June of last year when he finally got the point and knew he was the reason for me leaving him permanently.

Swift kick to the balls followed by a firm "f*ck you" should get your point across. No, seriously. Most of the guys that I've dated have been such arrogant, self-involved bastards that anything short of a brick to the head just wasn't going to get their attention.

There are many things that you can say, the object to that is, is he listening/hearing what you say. When you're ready to leave, you'll know it--it's not up to him whether you stay or go. Keep your head up!!

If you are expecting him to change, forget it; it's not going to happen, so cut him loose and look for somebody that's already the way you want him.
