If you enjoy talking with him, I would give him another chance. Go out another time and see if something is there. Personally, the guys I meet and have a inital 'spark' with never work out. Relationships need to be more than just physical attraction.
If you are not feeling the desire to be more than friends after the next outing, I would be honest with. Maybe you two are meant to be great friends. He seems to have interest in you and you at least owe he an honest talk if you choose not to go further or do not see anything progressing if you choose to go another time.

If you feel you know him very well, then why not give him a chance. But if there is something about his personality that just turns you off, you are better not to go with him on romantic date. Clearly, explain to him the situation, tell him that whatever you decide it wont change the fact you think he is really nice. Then if he still wants to go out, give it a go.

Find a nice way to end it, or just be friends (and make sure he knows that it is as far as the relationship goes).

you can give him one more chance but i don't see any good coming out of it.go out once and then u can end it in a nice way so he doesn't feel robbed and if he is not good enough to sweep u off ur feet on d 2 date he never deserved a second chance.

I would give him a chance personally. Sometimes, the people that we do not like that much at first end up being the best for us. That was true of my parents, and they are celebrating their 25th this year!

Attraction is the first piece of a successful relationship. If you aren't attracted to him then he can be the nicest guy in the world, but you won't last with him.

I think you should tell him you just want to be friends and if he expects anything more, he should look for somebody else, but if he still wants to go out for coffee as a friend, I think that would be ok.

I would say you need to talk to him. If he would like to keep going and explore futher don't hesitate. If he doesn't feel the same way then you should probably break ties before one of you ends up getting hurt.
